About Our Team

We are a 4 person Adventure Racing team based in Boulder, CO. We pledge to give back 5-10% of all sponsorship money and winnings received in 2009 to environmental nonprofits. Through these efforts, we will again be a carbon-neutral race team for 2009 with all carbon offsets sponsored by Native Energy!

New Sponsor!

We would like to thank Native Energy for sponsoring our Carbon Offsets for the 2008 racing season. By helping to build wind farms and other renewable energy sources, Native energy makes the most of your offset dollars. By sponsoring our offsets, Native energy will allow us to donate more money for 2008 to other needy environmental causes.

Great Ride

Still recovering from Saturday's fun, Tiff, Brooks, Colin, and Chris Boyd (Team Timberland) went for a mountain bike ride at Centennial Cone park in Jefferson County. This was the first time any of us had ridden the trail, and it didn't disappoint! The people who cut this trail did a great job, and it was some of the best singletrack I have ridden in quite some time. Boyd is doing a race in Guadalupe, Mexico next weekend with his girlfriend, and he was excited to get out and do some riding before the big race.

Colin has some picutres. We'll upload them soon!

Training Day!!!!

Tiffanie and Brooks went for a "walkabout" last Saturday. We joined up with the likes of Elite adventure racers Shane Sigle and Travis Macy and starting from the town of Golden, we basically bushwacked along every ridge, peak, and gulley we could find just west of Golden. After finding our way back to town 3 hours later, we hopped on our mountain bikes and took the long climb up Chimney Gulch with the same group plus the addition of recent rim-rim-rim record holder at the grand canyon and fellow GoLite athelete Dave Mackey. It was a great day, but we were pretty worn out in the end. We have been taking it pretty easy since our last race in September, and Tiff has just been resting her ankle which seems to be back to 100%. These guys were preparing for a race in Abu Dhabi in 2 weeks, so they were fast!

All-in-all, a great day. Colin couldn't make it, but we will punish him another day!

Sorry no pictures, we were going too fast just trying to keep up!
